Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

Matrix Education is seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving online traffic, increasing engagement, and optimizing our marketing campaigns to meet our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across multiple channels, including social media, email, and PPC.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs and content and ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Execute effective SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.
  • Perform ongoing keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-optimized blog posts, landing pages, and other marketing materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
  • Monitor website performance using SEO tools (Google Analytics, Moz, SEMrush) and implement optimization strategies based on data-driven insights.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of commercial digital marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated success in marketing and implementing content marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional copywriting and written communication skills, with experience in using AI tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Detail-oriented and strives for a high degree of precision.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO tools, and social media platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Effective organizational skill and process-driven.
  • Bachelor qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or Journalism or related studies.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in the education sector, particularly in the tutoring industry.
  • Start-up experience with a versatile range of skills.
  • Experience with A/B testing for emails and landing pages.
  • Familiarity with marketing CRM's and PPC tools.
  • Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications.
