Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced procurement professional to join our Bidding Energy & Resources Team in North Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement expert to lead bid phase procurement, reporting to the Bid Director. The role involves effectively managing procurement planning, developing Make or Buy strategies, and coordinating the RfQ process across energy and resources projects.

  • Develop a procurement program to be integrated in the Bid Study Program;
  • Follow Design Development / Options to consider;
  • Develop Internal and JV Partners consensus on Bid Strategy;
  • Develop common market package content aligned with project, contract, QHSE, Global Supply Chain requirements;

In this role, you will work closely with the wider team to ensure comprehensive coverage of scope of work and participate in line-by-line review of estimate. You will also track estimate variances post submission and verify deplugged estimate.

Requirements:
  • Degree qualified or other professional qualifications; such as Diploma or Certificate in a related subject matter combined with significant practical experience on EPC projects.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in the delivery of energy, resources or similar construction projects;
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software;
  • Capable of hands on management of major equipment packages;
  • Demonstrated understanding of commercial terms and conditions and ability to negotiate same.
