CQUniversity is seeking a skilled and experienced educator to join our School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences as a TAFE Teacher. This is a continuing, part-time position (0.8 FTE) with a total remuneration package of $84,613 to $106,478 per annum.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment services to students in the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences.
- Develop and implement effective learning programs that meet the needs of students and industry partners.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials that are relevant and engaging for students.
- Provide guidance and support to students to ensure they achieve their learning goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement best practice in teaching and learning.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education, or equivalent.
- Vocational competencies equivalent to or higher than the level being delivered and assessed.
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.
- Demonstrated capacity for best practice in the management of teaching and learning activities, including delivery, assessment, and evaluation.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to deliver flexible, responsive, and quality service to students.
