Customer Service Representative

Cash Converters, Australia's largest second-hand retailer and provider of personal finance solutions, seeks a Customer Service Representative to join its team.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic retail-based position in the Buys and Loans Department, where you will perform day-to-day transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met by actively seeking pricing feedback and trends;
- Develop lasting relationships with customers through active listening and understanding their needs;
- Effectively communicate pricing, valuation, and pawnbroking options to our loyal customer base;
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Achieve sales targets through excellent customer service and negotiation skills;
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers;
- Operate cash handling procedures in line with company policies and legislative requirements;
- Foster a positive work environment by contributing to a culture of respect, inclusivity, and teamwork.
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in retail or similar environments;
- A strong interest in Technology, Gaming, Collectables, Jewellery, or Tools and Hardware;
- The ability to confidently negotiate with customers for mutually beneficial outcomes;
- Excellent communication skills that build rapport, trust, and demonstrate compassion;
- Knowledge of contract details and the ability to clearly explain them to customers.
