Job Summary

The Head of Education Systems and Technology oversees the strategic direction of the department, driving innovation in Catholic education through technology services.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong vision, technical expertise, and collaboration skills to lead teams and stakeholders towards achieving organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the Education Systems and Technology department, setting strategic direction and goals for team performance.
  • Champion the use of data, applications, and AI to enhance the mission of Catholic education.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure governance, security, and compliance across all departmental systems and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and key vendors to secure support for departmental initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a strategic leader in a complex, service-oriented environment.
  • Strong background in technology management, including budget management, project governance, and vendor relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the K-12 education sector, with a preference for experience in Catholic or faith-based education.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Degree in Education, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree highly regarded).
