Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our cafe team as a Cafe Kitchen Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a kitchen setting is highly desirable.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist with food preparation, including toasting sandwiches, cooking eggs, and basic cooking tasks.
- Wash and clean utensils, dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment promptly.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Handle food deliveries with care, ensuring proper storage practices are followed.
- Retrieve food items as requested by chefs and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Previous experience in a kitchen setting (1 year minimum)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to follow health and safety protocols
