About the Role


The In-House Junior Legal Counsel role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious legal professional to take their career to the next level. Working across various jurisdictions, you will advise on legal/compliance matters and gain valuable insight into one of Australia's highest performing sectors.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide expert legal advice on documentation reviews, licensing applications, and contract drafting/management
  • Conduct industry-specific research to support business operations and expansion
  • Consult with national and international stakeholders in both English and Mandarin
  • Respond and adapt to various situations and challenges encountered by the wider business
  • Collaborate with other business functions to communicate compliance and regulatory requirements

About the Ideal Candidate



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with native Standard Chinese/Mandarin and fluent English
  • An Australian legal practicing certificate or relevant qualification
  • Experience providing legal and compliance advice within multinational business settings or international environments
  • Extensive knowledge of Australian legal and regulatory requirements, particularly in corporate governance, compliance, and contracts
