Senior Export Import Coordinator Opportunity

About the Role

The role involves identifying and pursuing business opportunities in Australasia, preparing quotes and pricing for potential customers, determining products and services to be provided, negotiating trade conditions, planning and coordinating shipping operations, arranging imports and exports, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely lodgment of manifests.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify local and overseas business opportunities
  • Pursue quotations and pricing with potential customers
  • Determine products and services to be provided
  • Negotiate terms of trade
  • Plan and coordinate shipping operations
  • Arrange imports and exports
  • Prepare export and import documentation
  • Lodgment of manifests

Requirements

  • Essential Skills:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field
  • At least 2 years' experience in the shipping or cargo industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of shipping import/export documentations
  • Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work towards deadlines
  • Autonomous and team player
  • High computer literacy
