Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of project cost management services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of 4-5 project roll-outs simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of key cost management reports.
- Communicate potential risks or opportunities with clients on specific projects, maintaining the highest standards of governance and quality assurance.
- Manage client expectations through excellent communication, applying commercial acumen to projects to deliver value for money and sound commercial outcomes.
- Set budgets for clients, manage existing key client relationships, and take responsibility for your own deliverables.
- Work closely with our wider team, providing support where required, and contribute to the development of the business plan and delivery of P&L targets.
- Demonstrate our Purpose, Vision & Values in your everyday activities, setting an example for excellence.
- Contribute to innovations and potential improved approaches with our service.
Requirements
- Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
- Sound experience in cost planning and contract administration.
- 5+ years of experience in cost management roles with emphasis on consultancy roles.
- Has managed clients, contractors, and consultants directly in previous roles.
- Preferable RICS and AIQS accredited.
- Previous CostX experience is preferable.
- Intermediate to high-level MS Excel experience.
