About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accounting Manager to join our team at Anton Murray Consulting. As a key member of our Alternative Assets team, you will be responsible for providing expert fund accounting services and collaborating closely with our team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the fund accounting team and provide guidance on all aspects of monthly fund accounting.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver financial accounts for all in-house funds and external audits as required.
  • Coordinate the production of financial accounts and ensure timely submission to regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement tax compliance activities for all funds, including preparation, review, and lodgement of BASs, Tax Returns, and AIIRs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely production of annual tax statements for all fund investors.
  • Assist in the development of technology solutions to enable fund accounting and tax obligations to be met.
  • Focus on continual improvement of processes and internal controls.
  • Participate in or lead ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role, incorporating fund accounting, funds management, and investor platform or registry businesses.
  • An accountancy degree and postgraduate studies, with CA/CPA qualifications desirable.
  • Practical tax knowledge and expertise, with strong project management and people management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and foster relationships with staff and clients.
  • Strong PC skills, including Word and Excel.
  • An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines, with excellent attention to detail.
