Senior Associate | Corporate and Commercial Expert

Our firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Corporate and Commercial Advisory team. As a leading law firm, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results for our clients through innovative solutions and collaborative teamwork.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for you to take ownership of your matters, mentor and develop junior colleagues, and expand your career across our Corporate and Commercial Advisory practice group.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in corporate and commercial law, with a strong commercial mindset and ability to deliver practical and commercially sound advice. You will work collaboratively with other solicitors and support staff to manage client relationships and provide high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake complex corporate and commercial matters including M&A transactions and structuring advice;
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements such as shareholder agreements, sale and purchase agreements, service agreements, and IP and licensing agreements;
  • Provide technical advice across a wide range of practice areas;
  • Participate in client engagement and business development activities;
  • Manage client relationships and provide high-quality service;
  • Mentor and supervise junior colleagues and assist with team management;
  • Work collaboratively with other practice areas in the firm.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in corporate and commercial law;
  • A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering practical and commercially sound advice;
  • Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with other solicitors and support staff;
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work;
  • Commerce or accounting degrees will also be considered favorably.
