The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is currently seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Patient Transport Officer. This role involves providing exceptional patient transport services, ensuring comfort and safety during transit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and interventions during transport.
- Deliver high-quality care and support to patients throughout their journey.
- Foster positive relationships with patients and healthcare stakeholders.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions in line with RFDS guidelines and regulations.
- Operate independently while adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of RFDS policies and NEPT regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Patient Transport Officer (minimum Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient Care).
- Experience in the NEPT sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Possession of a full NSW driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Availability for day shifts from Monday to Friday.

Mandatory Vaccination Policy:

- COVID-19 (two vaccinations plus booster)
All positions require a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check.
