Fortescue is seeking experienced Excavator / Dozer / Loader Operators to join our teams on 2/1 or 2/2 FIFO rosters. The ideal candidates will possess exceptional operating skills with mobile equipment.
The selected individuals will be responsible for operating heavy machinery at maximum efficiency while maintaining safety, environmental, and heritage standards. This includes:
- Operating a range of mobile equipment, including excavators and dozers.
- Maintaining assets to operational capacity.
- Continuously improving process efficiency.
- Demonstrating behavior that aligns with Fortescue values.
- Complying with Zero Harm principles on a daily basis.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in operating heavy machinery within the mining industry.
- Ability to skilfully operate multiple types of equipment, including D10T/D11T Dozer, 854 Wheel Dozer, 16/24M Grader, 993/994 Wheel Loader, CAT6060 shovel, CAT 6040, Hitachi 3600, CAT 6030, or Hitachi 2500 excavator.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High regard for safety and environmental sustainability.
