Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team in the field of Artificial Intelligence. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to cutting-edge research and advance their expertise in Cognitive Robotics and Knowledge Representation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting independent and collaborative research activities, including writing scientific papers and reports for international journals, participating in conferences and workshops, and engaging with industry partners.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in Cognitive Robotics and Knowledge Representation to advance the field and your expertise.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and build effective relationships across disciplines.
  • Disseminate research findings through presentations at seminars and conferences.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • PhD (or soon to be awarded) in knowledge representation and reasoning (artificial intelligence) or neurosymbolic AI or related area.
  • Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake high quality academic research and conduct independent research with limited supervision.
