About the Role:

Isentia is seeking an experienced Financial Data Analyst to join its finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for collating and reporting data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in our copyright and commission reporting models. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be crucial in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions to minimize time and error.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Copyright Reporting
  • Collate required data to feed into the copyright reporting models
  • Execute the copyright reporting models to produce the various reports required
  • Work alongside managers to check and review the reports to ensure they are accurate and consistent with trends.
  • Highlight and investigate any errors or changes to trends.

2. Commission Calculation
  • Collate required data to feed into the ANZ and SEA commission models
  • Execute the commission models to produce the commission calculations for all roles across APAC.
  • Work alongside managers to check and review the reports to ensure they are accurate and consistent with trends.
  • Interact with the payroll team to provide the relevant information for payment to employees.
  • Highlight and investigate any errors or changes to trends.

3. Process Improvement
  • Identify areas of improvement in the current reporting process to minimize time required to complete the reports and/or to minimize the potential for error.
  • Assist with the conversion of data & reporting to an automated solution (data warehouse and reporting tool e.g. Power BI).

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in IT, Statistics, Information Solutions, Data Science or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar business, in a detail-oriented role is a plus. Fresh graduates will be considered.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A diligent record-keeper.
  • Curious and investigative, problem-solving mindset.
  • Highly analytical.
  • Ability to work independently when required, although reasonable supervision and guidance will be provided.
  • Strong excel is necessary including knowledge of Macros and SQL. Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools e.g. Power BI is highly regarded.
