AV Drafter

The Audio Visual Drafter plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of projects by preparing detailed and accurate working plans, layouts, schematics, and drawings from rough or detailed sketches, notes, or Consultant specifications and drawings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing job costing, time plans, and fee preparation activities in consultation with the Project Manager to ensure timely completion of projects
• Maintaining and monitoring projects planning, project schedules, work hours, resourcing, budgets, and expenditures to optimize resource allocation
• Assisting project managers with workplace health and safety documentation and inductions for site works to ensure compliance with regulations
• Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks, and all documentation is maintained current for each project to minimize delays
• Providing administrative support as needed to facilitate seamless project execution

The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting, design, AV engineering, project coordination, pre-sales, or similar roles, particularly in AV/VC Projects or related fields such as Lighting Control. They should also possess skills in Drafting within AutoCAD, Visio, or Revit, excellent communication skills, and high-level competence using Microsoft Office, as well as demonstrated problem-solving skills and time management skills.
