About this role

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on diverse multi-disciplinary projects. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and marking up technical drawings and providing construction and commissioning support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Documentation: Prepare and maintain project reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate teams, overseeing the work of junior engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Electrical System Studies: Conduct early-stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems, including proficiency in electrical system calculations.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia with expertise in electrical and instrumentation design.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
  • Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards and regulations is essential.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Registered/Chartered Engineer status, with RPEQ preferable.
  • Knowledge of control systems design.
  • Experience working with heavy industry clients in the minerals processing sector.
