Senior Expeditor Opportunity

Wood is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Expeditor to join our Operations team in Australia & Asia Pacific West (APAC WEST). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our strategic growth plan for 2024 and beyond.

As a Senior Expeditor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results in expediting materials and documents within the Oil & Gas industry. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and optimize expediting processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Provide expert advice on expediting and procurement strategies.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary professional qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in expediting within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of suppliers, manufacturing schedules, and expediting best practices.
  • Good experience with ERP systems (e.g., ERM, Maximo, Oracle, SAP).
  • Commercially astute with a solutions mindset and sound management of risk.
