Plant Assessor Role

We are seeking a skilled Plant Assessor to join our Asset and Logistics team in a permanent role.

The upgrade of the Eastern Freeway includes new express lanes, traffic management technology, and a dedicated busway. Our scope of work involves a new interchange connecting the Eastern Freeway to the North East Link tunnels, major road and bridge upgrades, smart traffic management technology, and noise protection measures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Inspect plant and equipment against industry standards and project requirements.
  • Collect supporting information and upload it into the system.
  • Conduct regular compliance checks and provide reports on plant safety and environmental management.
  • Train site teams on plant management and assessment through hands-on and theoretical training.
  • Assist with breakdowns and maintenance requirements for plant and equipment.

**Requirements:**

  • A Trade Qualified Mechanical (Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic) with over 5 years' experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and identify maintenance concerns with cranes, telehandlers, and forklifts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with site and office staff, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices and Australian or New Zealand citizenship/permanent residency.
