We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Asphalt to join our multi-disciplinary project team. The role is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven and ambitious professional to enable the delivery of a major business initiative within a complex project.

The project is in the Defence sector, with sites located in regional Western Australia. The overall project is more than 2 years in duration, involving significant construction upgrades to airfield asphalt pavements and related infrastructure assets.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, specifically involving asphalt contracting, roads, and pavement construction
  • tertiary qualification in engineering
  • proven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environmental compliance
  • collaborative team attitude with frontline operational co-ordination experience
  • demonstrated ability in developing strong relationships with subcontractor and supplier partners
  • high-level understanding of resourcing, technical, scheduling, and contract management to achieve and exceed safety, quality, time, and cost objectives
  • extensive experience in site-based construction roles, client interface, and project management systems
  • experience with Defence processes and project delivery will be highly regarded
  • able to meet Department of Defence security clearance requirements (DCAC)
