Occupational Therapist

VMCH is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality person-centred services to support adults with disabilities to achieve their goals and independence within their home and community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessment and intervention with disability clients who have multiple and complex support needs.
- Engage in collaborative goal setting with clients and their support networks to maximise independence.
- Provide therapy supports in the client's chosen environment.
- Support and direct Allied Health and support staff.
- Assess for assistive technology and home modifications.
- Build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Requirements- Experienced in providing specialist assessment and intervention with disability clients.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and their support networks.
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders.
We require proof of work rights, an Australian Criminal History Check, Evidence of Flu and Covid Vaccinations, a Victorian Employee Working with Children Check, and compliance with Child Safety standards. You may also be required to supply an International Police Check.
