Ashurst's Projects and Energy Transition team is seeking a senior associate to join our Melbourne office.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled lawyer with experience in energy, infrastructure, construction and transport projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, superior drafting ability and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, innovative and commercially astute legal solutions across the transport, infrastructure, energy and resources sectors.
  • Work on renewable and energy transition projects globally, as well as market leading infrastructure, construction and transport projects.
  • Pivot into the energy space and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years' post-admission experience, ideally gained within private practice or in-house.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive approach and commitment to providing exceptional service.
