We are seeking a seasoned risk and compliance professional to join our team at RAC as a Partner - Risk & Compliance Oversight.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for championing effective risk management and ensuring robust compliance across RAC Insurance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and enhance the RAC Insurance risk and compliance oversight strategy.
- Conduct Line 2 assurance reviews and drive improvements across technical risk areas.
- Oversee and challenge RAC Insurance's risk profile, ensuring alignment with risk appetites and tolerances.
- Provide SME advice to senior management and deliver timely, insightful reports on risk and compliance performance.
- Build and sustain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulators.
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members to foster growth and alignment with organisational goals.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Extensive experience in risk or compliance roles within financial services or regulated industries, ideally insurance.
- In-depth understanding of APRA standards, the Insurance Contracts Act, and the General Insurance Code of Conduct.
- Strong analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to diverse audiences.
- Tertiary qualifications in risk management, insurance, or a related field (industry memberships a plus).
