About the Job

This is a permanent position within the world's largest building materials company, offering long-term career paths and training opportunities. Our culture is focused on recognizing effort and rewarding achievement. This role operates on an afternoon shift with a 33.3% loading.

We are seeking a trade-qualified Boilermaker with a mechanical mindset and experience in a quarry or similar environment. Safety is a fundamental value, and you understand the importance of maintaining a safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily pre-start inspections on various heavy mobile equipment (HME) and plant equipment.
  • Identify and report problems and machine faults to ensure consistent and safe operations.
  • Operate and maintain complex crushing and blending plants.
  • Execute tasks and activities as outlined in the work plan.
  • Perform maintenance inspections of fixed plant, workshops, stores, and ancillary equipment as directed.
  • Report completed and outstanding tasks to the maintenance supervisor to support efficient planning.
  • Complete daily maintenance time cards, detailing work completed and task hours.
  • Record necessary tools and equipment for maintenance tasks to assist in process improvement.
  • Participate in the development of work instructions for maintenance activities.
  • Maintain flexibility and a willingness to work across all aspects of quarry operations.
  • Be prepared to work overtime as required.
