We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our team, responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family needs within the parameters of the Illinois Occupational Therapy Practice Act in order to deliver care promoting optimal recovery and rehabilitation.

The successful candidate will promote safe and effective care to all age groups from young adults to geriatrics, coordinating care with the physician and any others involved in the patient's care.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapy Specialist, you will provide care throughout the continuum and rotate through the various therapy sites as needed.

You will assess patient and family learning needs and provide ongoing education and evaluation.

Documentation will be completed accurately and in a timely manner, according to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

An occupational therapist with experience in healthcare settings is required.

Licensed in the State of Illinois and graduation from an occupational therapy curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association are essential requirements.

Patient rights and responsibilities, including respect for cultural and religious diversity, will be respected at all times.
