Job Title: Leading Teacher - Head of Digital Technologies

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Teacher to lead our Digital Technologies team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Digital Technologies and a proven track record of leading and managing teams to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and school priorities
  • Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery
  • Lead and manage the provision of professional development and developing individual and team development plans for teaching staff within the priorities of the school
  • Lead and manage staff performance and development (review of staff)
  • Lead and manage the development of the school's assessment and reporting policies and practices
  • Lead and manage the implementation of the school operations and policies related to student welfare and discipline
  • Contribute to the overall leadership and management of the school
  • Develop and manage the school code of conduct

Requirements:

  • Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of teachers to achieve outstanding results
  • Strong background in Digital Technologies and a proven track record of leading and managing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
