Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Department Head to lead our footwear department.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and driving sales growth. They will be responsible for:

  • Fostering a positive team culture and promoting exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and sharing expertise with the team
  • Collaborating with the management team to achieve business objectives and drive financial performance
  • Ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and providing support to the back-of-house team

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead and motivate the footwear team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity

Product Knowledge and Sales Growth

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our footwear products and services
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers to drive sales growth

Operations and Logistics

  • Oversee the smooth operation of the footwear department, ensuring efficient stock management and minimising losses
  • Collaborate with the back-of-house team to ensure timely delivery of products and efficient inventory management

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years' experience in retail or a similar industry, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction

Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
