Advanced Electrochemist

Electrochemist Researcher Position

We are seeking a skilled researcher in electrochemistry to join our R&D team focused on the development and optimisation of electrochemical technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, manufacture, and test electrochemical systems including reactors, cells, and supporting infrastructure.">
• Conduct materials analysis for electrodes, membranes, electrolytes, and catalysts.">
• Scale lab-based prototypes to pilot or pre-commercial systems.">
• Analyse electrochemical performance using techniques such as EIS, LSV, CV, and chronoamperometry.">
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical engineers, data scientists, and process chemists.">
• Support IP generation and contribute to patent filings and publications.">

Qualifications:

• ">
• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.">
• Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering and thermodynamics.">
• Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and laboratory-scale electrochemical setups.">
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.">

Desirable Skills:

• ">
• Experience in electrochemical systems such as fuel cells, batteries, electrolyzers, or redox flow systems.">
• Knowledge of green ammonia, CO2 utilization, or electrosynthesis of fuels/chemicals.">
• Familiarity with pilot plant design or industrial scale-up.">
• Understanding of safety, regulatory, and environmental aspects of electrochemical processes.">
• Industry experience in cleantech, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors.">
