Aerospace Sales Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team at Avmax Group - Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and motivated individual who is passionate about sales and the aviation industry.

About the Role:

  • As a Senior Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and identifying new opportunities to solicit new clients for the Avmax Group of Companies.
  • You will conduct market research and build a solid pipeline of potential clients to contact regarding the sale of parts, aircraft, etc.
  • You will analyze trends in the industry and among competitors to develop proposals for future growth opportunities.
  • Responsible to track the rate at which sales revenue is growing.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs for equipment.
  • Engage with clients and build lasting relationships to maximize sales.
  • Liaise with suppliers and various departments to ensure timely delivery of customers' needs.
  • Continually meet targets, KPI's and sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Travel to meet clients when are where required.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Responsible to ensure growth in the Australian and Asia Pacific aviation market.
  • Provide quotations and conduct sales transactions in Quantum (internal program).
  • Consult with clients after sale to resolve potential issues and provide ongoing support.
  • Coordinate, monitor and follow up on invoicing activities as required.
  • Drive the sales strategy; determine short-term and long-term strategies and be accountable for the achievement of sales goals and deliverables.
  • Provide onsite assistance to ensure local warehouse is running efficiently from an aviation perspective.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience in sales is essential, preferably within the aviation industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required to effectively engage with clients and negotiate deals.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • The ability to travel internationally is also required.
