Surgeon Veterinary Nurse Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced veterinary nurse to join our dynamic surgical team in Sydney's Inner West. Our hospital offers a wide range of specialist services, including emergency and critical care, with the highest standard of nursing and patient care.

The successful candidate will have completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and have at least 3 years of experience in the field. They will be passionate about surgery and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Surgery patient treatments and care
  • Patient recovery and monitoring
  • IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
  • Taking blood and using in-house lab equipment
  • Cleaning and autoclaving of surgical instruments and specialized equipment
  • Specialist surgical and theatre nursing
  • Anesthesia
  • Radiology including CT & MRI imaging
Key Responsibilities

This role involves working closely with our Surgery Specialists, Senior Registrars, Residents, and Interns. You will receive ongoing training and support to develop your skills and advance your career.
