About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team in Australia & Asia Pacific West (APAC WEST). As a key member of our Operations business, you will be responsible for undertaking the effective receipt, storage, movement and control of all materials to support our business.

This is a Perth based role, working from our client's warehousing facility on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. You will report directly to the Materials & Logistics Lead and the Supply Chain Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the effective receipt, storage, movement and control of all materials to support our business.
  • Liaise with other Supply Chain, user groups, third parties, client and Supply Base & Marine contractors to ensure that all materials and equipment are received, marshalled and shipped in accordance with company procedures and internal controls.
  • Bring to life our three-pillar strategy of Inspired Culture, Delivery Excellence and Profitable Growth on the project.
  • Lead by example, consistently display and enforce our values and behaviours, and commitment to the highest standards of safe and ethical behaviour.

Your Qualifications:

  • You must have full work rights to work in Australia.
  • Ideally, you will hold an upper-secondary (equivalent to ISCED Level 3) qualifications from a recognised institution and have a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in materials / logistics within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Qualifications for dangerous Goods by Sea & Air.
  • Manual handling / Forklift licence and experience.
  • Varied and detailed work experience in the industry which would allow understanding of and exposure to key material control and logistics concepts and principles.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems (i.e. ERM, Maximo, Oracle, SAP).
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and coordinate & prioritise activities accordingly.
  • Be commercially astute with a "solutions mindset", sound management of risk, consistent with safety and commercial requirements.
  • Be customer-focused with an ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence to contribute to the competitive advantage of #teamwood.
