Job Title: Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling stories that inspire action, transforming the energy landscape and driving a greener future.

The Role

As part of our Marketing & Communication team, you will work closely with the Communications Manager to develop and deliver high-calibre communication material that strengthens our brand presence in the Australian Energy Market and industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop foundational content for all platforms and channels
  • Create marketing channel content (website, social, EDM) and update existing content
  • Design content for educational campaigns
  • Write media releases
  • Develop and deliver content plans for all company brands and products
  • Establish clear 'tone of voice' guidelines for company brand communication
  • Provide day-to-day comms support for the Marketing & Communication team
  • Support internal teams with comms guidance as needed
  • Contribute to communication strategy development
  • Manage external suppliers and consultants (copywriting, PR, etc.)
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of communications experience
  • Prior experience in the energy industry is an asset
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
  • Integrated campaign management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proof-reading and editing abilities
