Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to support a defence agency with the development and implementation of cloud infrastructure and security controls for secure web capabilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating business strategies and leading threat and risk assessments. They will conduct system security and vulnerability analysis, architect solutions for security mitigation strategies against Essential 8 and ISM, and develop and deliver System Accreditation Plans, Security Risk Management Plans, and solution architecture to mitigate against identified threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business strategies and lead threat and risk assessments.
  • Conduct system security and vulnerability analysis.
  • Architect solutions for security mitigation strategies against Essential 8 and ISM.
  • Develop and deliver System Accreditation Plans, Security Risk Management Plans, and solution architecture to mitigate against identified threats.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Security Architecture and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding and experience in developing and reviewing security artefacts.
  • Strong understanding of Australian government security frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, and the Essential 8.
  • Extensive knowledge of system security threats, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Australian Citizenship and a current AGSVA clearance.
