Culinary Support Associate

About the Role:

This position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of residents by creating a warm and welcoming dining experience.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, assembling salads, and portioning food, under the guidance of the Cook or Head Chef.
• Help serve meals to residents during meal times, ensuring each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
• Set up the dining areas before meal times, ensuring tables are clean and all necessary items are in place.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
• Interact with residents in a friendly and courteous manner during meal times, addressing their needs and requests as appropriate.

Requirements:

• A Food Handlers Certificate.
• Adaptability, passion, and a willingness to learn.
• Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
• Friendly and effective communication abilities.
