Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team at Boral's Bowen Bridge Concrete Plant as a Batcher In Charge. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering overtime and genuine career growth opportunities within our organization.

About the Role

  • Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs with dedicated programs and systems
  • Safe operation of front-end loader to weigh up materials for batching
  • Managing day-to-day administration including stock control of raw materials and monthly forecasts
  • Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting
  • General yard housekeeping and maintenance

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain plant and mobile equipment to ensure efficient batching and loading of concrete
  • Participate in day-to-day site operations, including stock control and inventory management
  • Contribute to safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform general yard housekeeping and maintenance tasks

Requirements

  • Interest in the concrete industry, with full training provided
  • Sound computer skills, including working with multiple systems and safety reporting
  • Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required
