About This Role

We are looking for a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. As a Community Palliative Care Physiotherapist, you will be working with patients who require palliative care services.

The ideal candidate will have high-level knowledge and skills in Palliative Care and/or Oncology physiotherapy, with experience in community-based physiotherapy practice being an advantage.

Job Details

This is a temporary full-time position available for up to February 2026. The Physiotherapist will work at Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital, one of the nation's most respected hospitals, serving local, statewide, national, and international communities.

The hospital offers world-class facilities and services, with dedicated staff committed to delivering innovative and caring care. As a member of our team, you will contribute to enriching health in millions of ways every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with complex needs in the Community Palliative Care service.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assess and manage patients' conditions, using advanced clinical knowledge and skills in Palliative Care and/or Oncology physiotherapy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration to practice as a Physiotherapist, degree, or equivalent in Physiotherapy and eligibility for membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
  • A valid NSW driver's licence (P1 and P2 licences acceptable).
  • Advanced clinical knowledge, skill, and significant clinical experience in providing clinical care across various practice areas within their discipline, including Palliative Care, at Level 2 or higher.
