We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Bupa Sutherland, a modern care home located in the heart of the Sutherland Shire. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in providing well-presented and nutritious meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare balanced and nutritious meals for our residents, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Liaise with residents, families, and the care team to ensure that their individual needs are met.
- Support the efficient functioning of the kitchen and catering services, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Perform administrative duties related to the kitchen operation, including stock management and quality control.
- Previous experience in food preparation and delivery in a similar environment.
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- The ability to solve problems independently and work as part of a team.
