About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at SDN Redfern. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Educational Programs

Design and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.

Build Strong Relationships

Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and collaboration within the team.

Monitor and Evaluate Progress

Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of children, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making adjustments to programs as needed.

Collaborate with Colleagues

Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, ensuring a cohesive and effective team approach to early childhood education.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

A recognized Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is essential for this role.

Current Working with Children's Check (NSW)

A current Working with Children's Check (NSW) is required for this position.

Knowledge of National Quality Standards

Knowledge of the National Quality Standards is essential for ensuring compliance and quality in early childhood education.

Knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework

Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework is required for designing and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of children.

Experience in Early Childhood Education

Experience in early childhood education, preferably in a similar role, is highly desirable.

Excellent Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and children.
