Strategic Finance Leader for Personal Care Business

As a Strategic Finance Leader, you will play a key role in driving the financial performance of our Personal Care business. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a high-performing team and contribute to the success of our iconic brands.
Job Description
Reporting to the CFO – Personal Care (IPC) ANZ, you will be responsible for leading a team of three direct reports across Sales Finance and Marketing decision support. Your focus will be on driving business in-year performance, helping to develop mid-to-long-term strategy, developing product innovation pathways, and managing forward forecast submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with FP&A in understanding and reporting on the key drivers of in-year financial performance, including a focus on profit and sales variance analysis.
- Play a key role in the business S&OP cycle, facilitating the Integrated Reconciliation meeting and preparing finance updates for Monthly Business Review meetings.
- Work closely with the CFO, FP&A, and the New Zealand Finance Manager on the submission of the Quarterly Forecast to the Global IPC team.
- Identify and capitalize on financial risks and opportunities within the current forecast, partnering cross-functionally to mitigate risks and realize opportunities.
- Continually improve the forecasting process, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.
- Help team members develop Innovation Business Cases, reviewing inputs and guiding improvements to plans.
- Contribute to the development of longer-term Strategic Business Plans with the IPF CFO.
- Operate as a key member of the IPC Finance and Marketing Leadership Teams, providing insights to cross-functional teams.
- Execute monthly financial controls, particularly across Trade Spend accruals and Advertising spend.
- Manage and develop your team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a relevant degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, and be CA or CPA qualified. You should also have demonstrated experience in Senior Commercial roles, showcasing strong analytical, decision-making, and influencing skills.
