**Canteen Assistant Position Available**

 

We are seeking two highly motivated and organized individuals to join our team as Canteen Assistants. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient food service operation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and serving meals in the canteen setting
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Working effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless operations
  • Managing cash handling and operating point-of-sale systems
  • Assisting with menu planning, inventory management, and stock control

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Clear English language skills and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including early starts and late finishes
  • Understanding of pay for hours worked, not on holidays

 

Benefits:

  • Approximately 30 hours per week, flexible scheduling

 

Work Schedule:**

  • Early start at 7:30 AM
  • Finish at 2:30 PM

 

Holiday Schedule:**

  • No work on school holidays
