We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Eficaz Consulting Pty Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in and undertake day-to-day activities of the maintenance department, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergencies, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure production processes are conducted in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to statutory requirements, regulations, and company policies.
- Undertake regular and programmed maintenance of plant machinery, buildings, and services to maintain optimal performance.
- Meet all necessary quality assurance requirements, as requested, and directed.
- Preventative maintenance and servicing of all production equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring maximum productivity.
- Fault finding and repair of production machinery parts, replacement of production machinery parts as needed.
- Stock control of all relevant consumables, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
- General maintenance of unused machines, ensuring they are in good working order for future use.
- Constant review of production line to ensure optimal effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.
- Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in an industrial / production / facility maintenance environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
- Be physically fit and healthy for work, with the ability to lift and move equipment as required.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding and practice of food hygiene and food handling concepts, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Good problem identification and solution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Sound understanding of plant and production hygiene requirements, with the ability to maintain compliance.
- Experience in fabrication welding, with the ability to fabricate and repair equipment as needed.
- Previous experience working on high-speed production and packaging equipment, boilers, and water treatment plant.
- Currently hold a valid forklift truck operation license LF and / or electrical license.
