About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the drilling industry. As a Driller Offsider, you will provide essential support to the drill team, including general duties and assisting in setting up and clearing sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing maintenance work on rig and ancillary equipment
  • Contribute to recovering and presenting samples
  • Participate in rod handling and drill rig assistance
  • Maintain housekeeping and cooking meals with the team
Requirements
  • A valid HR Driver's License is required
  • A First Aid Certificate is highly desirable
  • A valid Police Clearance is necessary
  • You must be physically fit and healthy
  • A proven history of manual labor is essential
  • You should be able to follow detailed instructions
  • SOME mechanical knowledge would be beneficial
  • Ability to work in a team and at times in isolation is important
  • You should be organised with good hygiene and presentation skills
  • A high attention to detail and quality of work is expected
