About the Role

Serco is a global leader in delivering essential public services, and we're seeking a skilled Clinical Team Leader to join our Health Services team at Clarence Correctional Centre.

As a Clinical Team Leader, you'll play a critical role in delivering patient-centred care in a correctional environment. You'll lead a team of dedicated health professionals, including Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses, while collaborating with Nurse Practitioners and specialists in areas such as Sexual Health, Chronic Disease, and Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary health team to deliver holistic, patient-centred health services
  • Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure integrated care and manage clinical priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols, and support the professional development of your team
  • Develop and implement effective healthcare strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs
  • Work closely with the Health Services Manager to develop and implement healthcare policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Post-graduate qualifications in a clinical specialty or management, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in leading healthcare teams, ideally in a correctional setting
  • Ongoing participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • Strong self-management and resilience to work autonomously
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
