Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our Customer Platforms team. As part of this role, you'll contribute towards the user-facing experience of our customer facing website.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining revenue generating initiatives, ensuring it is a secure, intuitive, and high-performing gateway for new customers and a seamless experience for existing ones.

About the Role

In this position, you'll work in a collaborative environment with a team focused on delivering innovative solutions that simplify complexity and drive informed decision-making across the customer facing platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions at scale using a range of technologies including React, Java11 or above, AEM/Apache Sling, NodeJS (ES6+), AWS (mainly S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CDK), Akamai (or other CDNs), CI/CD products (TeamCity, Github Actions, AWS Codebuild).
  • Maintain and improve existing applications, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes to enhance performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build modern engineering stacks, leveraging hands-on experience working in AWS.
  • Contribute to the development of APIs and services using Node.js, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A proven track record as a Full Stack Engineer, ideally with hands-on experience across the entire development and implementation lifecycle.
  • Strong expertise in back-end technologies, including Node.js, and front-end frameworks like React.
  • A solid understanding of web performance, responsive design, CSS frameworks, and Styled Components.
  • Experience designing and building modern engineering stacks, ideally with hands-on experience working in AWS.
  • Understanding of on-call practices and deep knowledge of monitoring and observability tooling to proactively manage, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems at scale.
