About the Role
HammondCare At Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialised Care Worker to join our team as a floater or reliever, covering the Moreton Bay region and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes
- Assist with personal care, including showering and dressing
- Help with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light house cleaning
- Provide transportation to appointments and assist with shopping
- Assist with medication
About You
- You are a patient and solutions-focused individual who can relate to people
- You may have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
- You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car
- Ideally, you hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
- You are flexible and able to meet the changing needs of home care clients
Benefits
- $29.56 to $32.45 per hour plus 99c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided
- Full training is given to all our Care Workers, no experience is necessary
- Secure employment on a 14 day perm part-time roster
- Salary packaging - up to $15,900 tax free

- First Aid Certificate provided and paid for by us
- Paid Certificate III in Aged Care training available if you want to progress
Requirements
- You will be required to undertake a Police Check, Functional assessment, provide two referees and evidence of minimum 2 COVID-19 vaccinations
