Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to join our team. As a Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of completions and commissioning professionals in the successful delivery of key resource projects throughout Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a multifunctional team, undertaking completion and commissioning activities in a brownfield and greenfield environment.
  • Liaise and foster client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate teams involved in construction and commissioning works at various sites, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and systematic manner from energization to process commissioning stage.
  • Interface with other key disciplines/departments to ensure integration of activities and successful project delivery.
  • Safely and successfully manage commissioning staff and technicians to meet project schedules and milestones.
  • Plan and schedule commissioning activities with respect to subsystem/system priority.
  • Manage Commissioning test packs, ITPs, and ITRs, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, offer advice on operational procedures, and analyze performance and safety data.
  • Write and review Commissioning procedures and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Interpret complex drawings, diagrams, PIDs, PFDs, and specifications to ensure accurate commissioning activities.
  • Demonstrate a high level of personal commitment to safety and adhere to standard work practices.
  • Utilize MS Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage project documentation and communication.
  • Familiarity with CMMS/Completion Management Systems to ensure efficient project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Process, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering or Trade qualification - SMP, E&I, Process operations.
  • At least 10+ years of broad-ranging experience in completions and commissioning in the mining and resource sector.
  • Proven skills in planning, workforce management, field commissioning, and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with relevant completion software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and evaluate processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide clear technical advice.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Current Driver's License and Construction Induction - OHS White Card.
  • Strong perception and implementation of HSE practices.
