About the Role:

Are you a motivated and experienced retail professional seeking a new challenge? We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Bendigo.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small team, providing coaching and development opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection and technical advice
  • Build strong relationships with customers, driving sales growth and loyalty
  • Maintain accurate stock control and management of inventory
  • Process transactions efficiently and effectively
  • Make deliveries to trade customers as needed, promoting excellent customer service
  • Assist with visual merchandising, store presentation and display
  • Foster a safe working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, complemented by experience in coaching and developing teams
  • Proven track record of success in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or sales
  • Strong people and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding service and results
  • Technical skills, including proficiency in Point of Sale systems
  • Experience with stock handling and merchandising, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Effective time management and planning capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
