About the RoleThe successful candidate will have previous experience in oil and gas drilling as a Derrickhand or above, with a strong understanding of onshore drilling operations. They will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the operation and maintenance of drilling equipment and tools
- Monitor and control drilling parameters to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the drilling team to achieve project objectives
- Participate in regular safety inspections and audits to maintain a safe working environment
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of drilling operations and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in oil and gas drilling as a Derrickhand or above
- Accredited certification for the role (Certificate II and III in Onshore Oil/Gas Drilling)
- Open Manual Drivers Licence (Car or Higher)
- Australian-based experience
