Enhance Quality of Life for a Participant

We seek a dedicated male support worker to assist our participant with daily living activities and promote social interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including bed baths, toileting, and perianal care.
  • Assist with manual handling, sliding, stand-and-pivot transfers from bed to wheelchair, commode, and vehicle.
  • Prepare light meals and perform domestic duties.
  • Support the participant in social and community activities.

Essential Criteria:

  • Be a male aged 27-40 years old.
  • Have experience supporting participants with physical disabilities, particularly Cerebral Palsy.
  • Show genuine interest in gaming, streaming, and computers/electronics.
  • Hold manual handling experience or be willing to undergo training.
  • Be reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Possess current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, and Manual Handling Certificate.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Hold a current driver's license to operate the participant's van.
  • Have experience providing social/community participation support.
  • Demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.
