About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Swim Program Supervisor at Penrith City Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Learn to Swim program, promoting and developing aquatics programs, and supervising a team of instructors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote the Learn to Swim program
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Learn to Swim instructors
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the success of the aquatics program
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, making recommendations for improvement
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Learn to Swim Instructor qualification
  • Experience in Learn to Swim teaching and supervision
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Understanding of a large swim program, level structure, and skills set
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the services to members
